Tired of Politics; Going Riding this Weekend
The bad news just keeps coming for Republicans.
I'm taking off this weekend to ride the Harley and be with the family. I'm not going to think about how disgusting the Republicans are.
- Republican Rep. Bob Ney pleads guilty, likely will get 27 months in prison.
- The Senate Finance Committee finds that five conservative nonprofit organizations, including one run by prominent Republican Grover Norquist, sold their clout to Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
- White House insider reveals how Bush, Rove used and made fun of conservative Christians.
- Republican Speaker of the House Hastert's promised probe into his and Republican Leadership's handling of the Foley sex solicitations has fizzled. Does he think he has weathered the storm already?
- Foley's former chief of staff Kirk Fordham testifies he told Hastert years ago. Hastert doesn't remember. Who has a reason to lie about that -- Fordham or Hastert?
