Will the Memo Showing Fox News' Bias Against Democrats Gain Any Traction

The Huffington Post first reported the internal memo sent by Fox News's VP of News urging Fox reporters and producers to "be on the lookout for any statements from the Iraqi insurgents, who must be thrilled at the prospect of a Dem-controlled congress" and trashing newly elected House Democratic leader Steny Hoyer, referring to his race against John Murtha for the leadership post as "A former hawk v. a political hack."

Lots of blogs and Web sites have picked up the story. MediaMatters has a good piece. Hardball and Scarborough Country did pieces last night. Keith Olbermann had a great piece, posted on DemocraticUnderground.

I wonder what traction, if any, this revelation of obvious bias at Fox News will get.

Will folks just say "Yeah, I knew they were biased; now we have proof" and let it go at that?

Fox News fans likely will not think there is an issue to be discussed.
